Asirgarh Fort
Asirgarh Fort is a historic hilltop fortress located near Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh, often called the “Key to the Deccan” because of its strategic military importance in ancient times. Built on the Satpura hills, the fort offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding forests and plains. It has witnessed the rule of several dynasties including the Mughals and Marathas, making it a significant heritage site.
