Tribal residents of a village in Burhanpur district have alleged that forest department officials burned down a hut standing on their field and threatened to set fire to the remaining huts in the area. According to the villagers, the incident occurred during a visit by foresters, causing fear and distress among the community. The affected families claim the act was meant to intimidate them and force them to vacate the land. They have demanded an impartial inquiry into the incident and urged the district administration to ensure their safety and protect their livelihoods.
